Hole and Corner celebrates craft, beauty, passion and skill.

It’s about people who spend more time ‘doing’ than ‘talking’, who put content above style, whose work is their life. Through a bi-annual print magazine and a daily updated digital alternative, we aim to promote local trade and talented individuals, whether professional or amateur, exploring and celebrating the landscape that inspires them. Combining these subjects with some of the world’s finest still life, style and fashion photographers, our goal is to present a lifestyle and culture in a way previously unseen. THE SOUND & MUSIC ISSUE

For Issue 07 of Hole & Corner, we are turning our focus onto the world of sound in all its manifestations. From robot orchestras to harpsichords; from the art of the soundscape to the thrill of uncovering a lost classic; from the obsessive world of the audiophile to the chaos of punk spirit… we leave no stone unturned in uncovering stories of musical dedication, detailing the craft, beauty, passion and skill involved amongst those who have devoted their lives to sound in one way or another.

As ever, we put the emphasis on those who spend more time doing than talking about it. We explore the sounds of asteroids, nature and even hell... while everyone from Tracey Thorn to Andrew Weatherall offer their unique viewpoints on pop stardom.

The Sound & Music Issue: it’s like nothing you’ve heard before.
